JS Internet Technology Consulting was founded in 2010 by Jacopo Tarantino and Steven King who wanted to see a company in the market that offered more than just one specific, overpriced service. They wanted a company that could boast a range of open-source solutions for personal and business needs. All these services should be backed by friendly, professional, comprehensible support and fair prices.
JSIT Consulting now offers all of those things and more and its two founders couldn't be happier.
Jacopo has a background in arts, humanities and languages with an overlay of computer science and internet-based design. He finished his bachelor's degree in Linguistics in 2010 while also studying web design, photography and software engineering. He previously worked as a computer building and repair contractor and an independant photographer. He later decided to move to New York City to pursue his dream of being a photographer and designer.
Steven has an extensive background in the Information Technology and Internet Services markets. He was previously Senior Network Engineer for Liquid Web, Inc. one of the leading providers of data center space and hosting services in the USA. After that, he moved to New York City to work as a Senior Linux Engineer for Advance Internet, the second largest publisher in the USA. Steven also holds a Bachelor of Engineering from Western Michigan University in Computer Science. Along with his bachelor degree, he has obtained some of the leading certifications in the industry. Along with his schooling background, certifications, and shear experience he is able to provide superior Opens Source solutions to business problems and needs.
The JSIT team is growing. Currently we're a small team of dedicated professionals but we're expanding quickly and constantly adding new skills and talents to our repertoire. Recently, Jacopo learned Perl programming and we added a worldwide leader in Internet and Intellectual Copyright Law to our team.
